The people behind the chairs
We are 11, including 2 colleagues still in training. Everyone has their own specialism, and you choose who cuts your hair when you book.

Chris Duller
Owner & Master Stylist
Organic cutting specialist
I learned to cut with my heart, and the technique came after. Anyone can learn technique; insight and creativity you cannot. You have to have those in you. Those are the qualities I look for in my team as well. I like making beautiful things and my work genuinely gives me energy. For me the ideal cut is one that falls loosely and naturally, even without a hairdryer.

Carolien
Master Stylist
Specialist in short and long hair, soft lines with plenty of texture, and cutting to the natural fall
I like trying new things. New shapes are where I get to be creative. If you want something completely different, going from long to very short for example, I find that a real challenge.
At Dullers since 1995

Fanar
Master Stylist
Expert in Colour & Styling, Transformations & Blowouts
My name is Fanar and I have joined Dullers. I worked at a salon in Wassenaar for seventeen years. The fact that I have been doing this for seventeen years probably tells you everything about how much I love this trade. I cut, colour and style, so men, women and children are all welcome with me. I hope to see you soon!

Inge
Master Stylist
Specialist in modern classic cutting techniques
What I love about hairdressing is how varied it is. I get to be creative with cutting, highlights and colour, and I really enjoy that. On top of that I love inspiring and training my younger colleagues. Outside the salon my life is mostly music. Playing violin and singing are a big hobby of mine. No two days are the same for me.
At Dullers since 2008

Anka
With a background in project management among other things, I support the day to day running of the salon. As hostess I am often the first person you speak to: I am happy to help you book an appointment or answer your questions. I also love learning more and more about hairdressing and contributing to how the salon runs. Working at Dullers feels like a lovely combination of creativity, hospitality and teamwork. I started at Dullers in March 2024. It clicked straight away, and I have now been here almost two years and still enjoy it. After my maternity leave I went looking for a new challenge that would fit around my family. Because I was a client here myself, I already knew how good the atmosphere is, and now I get to be part of this warm and creative team.

Sulaf
Young Talent
My name is Sulaf. I am originally from Syria and I have been living in the Netherlands for eleven years now. Becoming a hairdresser has been my goal since I was young and I work towards it every day. I am a creative and precise person with plenty of ideas, which helps me keep developing. In the salon I now do colour work as well and I am going deeper into cutting techniques. Highlights appeal to me most, because that is where I can apply my creativity and see a visible result.

Hairdressing always seemed fun to me, but it was not the first thing I looked into. I was always busy with my own hair and other people's though. Since I did my work placement at Dullers I never left, I love it that much. Who would not want to spend their days making hair look good? Colour is the best part for me. That is where I can be creative. And then styling out a good cut, I love that too, especially creating a proper blowout with brushes. There are so many different possibilities in this job and that is exactly what makes it so good.
